Serenades in Shüttkasten

Under the motto “Classical Music from Bohemia & Lower Austria”, two musically and atmospherically exceptional afternoons await us in the late summer Weinviertel, and this can be combined with a city tour in Retz beforehand.

The “Serenade in the Schüttkasten” takes us into the sonorous world of two closely connected regions – Bohemia and Lower Austria – whose rich musical traditions are impressively brought to life in this place.

Christoph Angerer, owner of the "Freihof," will personally guide you through the program – with expert, musical, and historical insight. His explanations will allow music and location to merge in a unique way and provide fascinating insights into the cultural heritage of this historic property.

Following the concert in the “Schüttkasten”, the late afternoon and early evening will end in convivial company with wine, bread, Liptauer and musical extras.

After the concerts, the afternoon ends in the courtyard with bread, Liptauer, wine and a musical encore.
